Yard Game Rental Terms & Conditions

By renting equipment from Rumors N Rentals, the renter agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Rental Period

  • Standard rental period is four (4) hours unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Equipment must be returned or made available for pickup at the agreed-upon time.
  • Late returns may incur additional rental fees.

Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit of $50 is required for each rental reservation.
  • Deposits will be refunded within 3 business days after the equipment is returned and inspected.
  • Deposits may be partially or fully withheld for damaged, lost, stolen, or excessively dirty equipment.

Payment

  • Full rental payment and security deposit are due before equipment is released.
  • Rental fees are non-refundable once the rental period begins.

Equipment Care

The renter agrees to:

  • Use equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Keep equipment protected from theft, vandalism, and misuse.
  • Prevent standing, climbing, or sitting on game boards.
  • Keep food, beverages, paint, markers, and other staining substances away from equipment.
  • Return equipment in the same condition it was received.

Damage, Loss, or Theft

The renter is financially responsible for:

  • Missing game pieces, bean bags, or accessories.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, weather exposure, or improper handling.
  • Full replacement cost of equipment if lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair.

Weather Policy

  • Games should not be left outside during rain, heavy moisture, or extreme weather conditions.
  • If severe weather is forecasted before the rental period begins, rescheduling may be offered based on availability.
  • No refunds will be issued for weather conditions occurring after the rental period has started.

Assumption of Risk

The renter assumes all responsibility for the use of rented equipment.
Rumors N Rentals shall not be liable for:

  • Injuries to participants or spectators.
  • Property damage resulting from use of the equipment.
  • Accidents occurring during setup, use, transport, or storage.

Setup and Placement

  • Equipment must be placed on a reasonably level surface.
  • Equipment may not be modified, painted, nailed, screwed into, or altered in any way.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event will receive a full refund of any rental fees paid.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may forfeit all or part of the rental fee.
  • Security deposits will be refunded for canceled reservations.

Agreement

By submitting payment and accepting delivery of rental equipment, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
