Rumors N Rentals – Scene Setter Collection Rental Terms & Conditions

By reserving any Scene Setter Collection rental items from Rumors N Rentals, the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions.

Included Rental Items

The Scene Setter Collection may include:

  • 6 ft Folding Tables

  • Folding Chairs

  • Chair Covers

  • Champagne Tower Display

  • Treat Wall Display

Items included in each rental will be specified on the invoice or rental agreement.

Rental Period

  • Standard rental periods are as outlined in the booking agreement.

  • All items must be available for pickup by Rumors N Rentals at the agreed-upon time.

  • Additional fees may apply for late returns or delayed pickups caused by the Client.

Delivery & Setup

  • Delivery fees may apply based on event location.

  • Items will be delivered to a ground-level location unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the delivery area.

  • Setup and breakdown services are only included if specified in the booking agreement.

Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit is required for all Scene Setter Collection rentals.

  • The deposit amount will be outlined on the invoice.

  • Deposits will be refunded within 3–7 business days after rental items have been inspected and determined to be free from damage, excessive cleaning, missing parts, or misuse.

  • Rumors N Rentals reserves the right to deduct repair, replacement, cleaning, or late fees from the security deposit.

Care of Rental Items

The Client agrees to:

  • Use all rental items in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Keep items protected from theft, vandalism, and weather-related damage.

  • Return all items in the same condition in which they were delivered, excluding normal wear and tear.

  • Not alter, paint, staple, tape, glue, nail, or permanently attach anything to rental items.

Champagne Tower Display

  • The Champagne Tower Display is intended for beverage service only.

  • The Client assumes responsibility for the safe use of the display during the event.

  • Plastic champagne glasses must not be stacked beyond the recommended configuration provided by Rumors N Rentals.

  • Any broken, missing, or damaged components may result in replacement fees.

Treat Wall

  • The Treat Wall must be used on a stable, level surface.

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring that food items and décor are safely attached and removed.

  • Damage caused by adhesives, excessive weight, improper handling, or weather exposure may result in additional charges.

Tables, Chairs & Chair Covers

  • Tables and chairs must not be dragged across surfaces.

  • Chair covers must be returned free of excessive stains, burns, tears, wax, paint, or permanent markings.

  • Additional cleaning or replacement fees may be assessed for damaged chair covers.

Outdoor Use

  • Outdoor use is permitted; however, all rental items must be protected from rain, excessive wind, mud, standing water, and other adverse weather conditions.

  • If severe weather is expected, the Client is responsible for relocating items to a protected area.

  • Weather-related damage is the responsibility of the Client.

Damage, Loss & Replacement

The Client is responsible for the full replacement cost of any item that is:

  • Lost

  • Stolen

  • Broken

  • Damaged beyond repair

  • Returned with missing components

Replacement costs will be determined by Rumors N Rentals and may exceed the amount of the security deposit.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event date will receive a refund of payments made, excluding any non-refundable booking fees.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may result in partial or full forfeiture of rental payments.

  • Security deposits will be refunded if the rental order is canceled prior to delivery.

Liability

Rumors N Rentals shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, or claim arising from the use or misuse of rental equipment. The Client assumes full responsibility for the use of all rented items during the rental period.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting payment and reserving rental items, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Rumors N Rentals reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a rental agreement if these terms are violated.✨
